Part of Me

Hi ๐Ÿ™‚ Thank you for visiting my blog, I know that it is not really nice like as you what expecting for as you opening it. Hopefully, I didn’t make you crazy for letting you read my entries, please understand meย for what I am writing here, I know it might confuse you but I just want to express what I wanna say here. The thoughts that being stucked inside of me.

Well, I think I’m too young for having a blog and join the experts here on their discussionย but I’m still trying. I’m just seventeen years old from Philipines. I’m honest of what I’m writing here and I know less than you. I really love reading but not anytime,ย I also have a hobby like writing, I love this more than talking, because through these, I get serious. I can describe myself as an INQUISITIVE kind of person, I think that was also the reason why I have this blog now, I want to learn more on the different aspects of life.

Thank you very much for some of the blogger that writes about lesson, travel,ย food, love and of course about God. I really adore you guys ๐Ÿ™‚ You’re such an inspiration to me.

Kamusta ka Fey? Thanks for subscribing to my blog, it was something I didn’t expect! I would love to do to a big trip through the Philippines one day – your country occupies one of the top spots on my travel wishlist.

If you don’t mind I will translate what Javi&Palace said earlier on, he must’ve thought that you were a Spanish speaker. He wrote: “I think this is very interesting, here [in me] you have a possible follower. A hug.”

I myself started blogging when I was about your age, but I stopped for a while because of my studies. Sometimes it takes a lot of effort but it’s definitely worth it. Sige, and keep it up! ๐Ÿ˜€

    Fey,
Please keep writing. I started a journal when I was 18. That was 1968. My journals are some of my most important possessions. You should not worry about your direction. Everyone in the world is worried about not having enough money. No one ever has โ€œenoughโ€. If you will keep writing, you will make it. You need to work on you English grammar if you want to come to the USA. But things are not so great here in the USA either. It may be better than the Philippines. I was in your country in 1981. I was in Manila, Pampanga and Baguio City. My friend had family in Pampanga. I am not familiar your city. My friend, Milagros Bonifacio, came to the USA many years ago. She lives in Los Angeles where there are many Filipinos. You should also consider add filmmaking or photography. Both of these work easily with the blog.

I mainly wanted to encourage you to keep up the good work.

I was inspired by your comment. I planned to start making a post about films, food and travel. I notice that that was the interest of readers and not my “drama-thing” post. Thank you so much!

I would suggest you write about what ever you know best. The “drama-thing” was pretty good, maybe just add the other three. Tell about how to make your local food dishes, illustrate the dishes with good photographs. Share your favorite local “hide away” resorts no mater how small, again with good photos. Let me know if you find some good local student film makers, especially nature films or environmental solutions. Me and a few friends are statring a GreenEarthFilmFestival (.com) mainly for student film makers here in southern California.

    Fey,
Glad to see you are back writing again. Your film reviews were very good. The comments were interesting. Here are some simple guide lines for film reviews. I know most people think the USA has it all, but I suggest that you find good films, travel spots and unique food from your country. People in the USA and other countries are interested in what you take for granted. (I love pork adobo) If you can find an inexpensive digital video camera and make some short (5-15 minute ) films. Plan out an out line and develope the movie just like an essay. Get your friends to help. If you come up with something really good you can enter it in our Green Earth Film Festival next April. We will have a new web site soon.
    Go girl!

Glad to know that you’ve read my new post. I’m having a trouble on the internet access that’s why I cannot always update my blog and make a new post. Thank you for advices. I’ll try my best to make another post about travels and foods, because I’ll go travel tomorrow. By the way, Pork Adobo was my favorite filipino food ever.

How to Write a Movie Review

Writing a movie review is a great way of expressing your opinion of a movie. The purpose of most movie reviews is to help the reader in determining whether they want to watch, rent or buy the movie. The review should give enough details about the movie that the reader could make an informed decision, without giving anyway any essentials such as the plot or any surprises. Below are some guidelines and tips for writing a good movie review.
    1. Watch the movie
The first step in writing the review is to watch the movie. Watch the movie in a relaxed environment you are familiar with. You do not want to be distracted by an unfamiliar room. Watching the movie a second time will help you absorb a lot more detail about the movie. Most movie reviewers take notes as they watch the movie review.
    2. Give your opinion
Most movie reviewers will give their opinion of the movie. This is important as the reviewer can express the elements of the movie they enjoyed or disliked. However, as in all good journalism, the reviewer should also give impartial details, and allow the reader to make their own mind over an issue the reader liked or disliked. Opinions should be explained to allow the reader to determine whether they would agree with your opinion.
Many regular movie reviewers will develop a following. If one can find a reviewer who shares a similar taste in films, one can confidently follow the reviewers recommendations.
    3. Who is your audience?
You need to consider who your likely readers are. Writing a movie review for children requires a different approach than if writing for a movie club. Ensure you report on the factors that matter to your likely audience.
    4. Give an outline
Give the outline of the movie, but don’t give away essential details such as the end or any surprises. If there is a big surprise you want to entice readers by telling them something special happens, just don’t say what.
    5. Actors
If the movie contains actors, as most do, detail who is starring in the movie and how well you think they acted.
    6. Structure
Did the movie follow a regular predictable story line, or did it get you thinking like a Quentin Tarantino movie?
    7. Cinematography and lighting
Give details about how well the movie was shot and directed. Was the lighting good in the moody scenes?
    8. Music
Did the movie have its own score like Koyaanisqatsi or ET, or did it feature songs from popular artists?
    9. Read, read and read
Read and check your review thoroughly. It can be embarrassing to find errors in your work after it has been published. This is especially important for reviews that will be published on the Internet, as search engines are always looking for the correct spellings of key words.
